ACR-Approved. Built for small field-of-view SPECT and PET systems.

Compact tomographic phantom for dedicated cardiac, head, and preclinical imaging systems where the standard ACR phantom won't fit.

The Pro-NM ACR Performance Small Phantom is a compact tomographic imaging phantom designed for performance evaluation of small field-of-view (FOV) SPECT and PET systems – including dedicated cardiac SPECT cameras, dedicated head SPECT/brain imaging units, and compact PET scanners that cannot accommodate the standard 209.6 mm Jaszczak deluxe phantom. With a 139.7 mm (5½") inside diameter, the phantom fits the bore of small-FOV systems while maintaining ACR Nuclear Medicine Accreditation Program compliance for tomographic resolution, uniformity, and contrast testing.

Designed for systems where the standard phantom won't fit

Many modern dedicated SPECT and compact PET systems – such as cardiac-dedicated cameras (D-SPECT, cardiac CZT systems), brain-dedicated systems, and small-bore preclinical scanners – have field-of-view dimensions too small for the standard Jaszczak deluxe phantom (Ø209.6 mm). The Pro-NM ACR Performance Small Phantom is the ACR-compliant solution for these systems:

Compact 139.7 mm (5½") cylinder – fits small-FOV detector geometries
✅ Full ACR test capability – cold rods, solid spheres, and uniform region in one phantom
✅ Approved for ACR accreditation of small-FOV systems where indicated by ACR protocols
✅ Same test methodology as the standard Pro-NM phantom – familiar workflow for medical physicists

What you can test with the Pro-NM Small Phantom

Core ACR tomographic parameters:

✅ Spatial resolution – via cold rod insert (4.8–12.7 mm rods)
✅ Cold-spot contrast – via six solid cold spheres (6.4–25.4 mm)
✅ Tomographic uniformity – via uniform PMMA section

Extended QA applications:

✅ Collimator and reconstruction parameter testing
✅ Imaging artifact evaluation
✅ Center-of-rotation (COR) error assessment
✅ Non-uniformity artifact identification
✅ Impact of rotation radius on spatial resolution
✅ Effect of reconstruction filters on spatial resolution
✅ Effectiveness of attenuation and scatter correction algorithms

Why choose the Pro-NM ACR Performance Small Phantom?

✅ Designed for small-FOV systems – fits dedicated cardiac, brain, and compact PET scanners
✅ ACR-compliant – meets ACR Nuclear Medicine Accreditation Program requirements for small-FOV testing
✅ Referenced in the ACR Nuclear Medicine Quality Control Manual (2024) – documented test protocols included
✅ All three core test sections – cold rods, solid cold spheres, and uniform region
✅ Versatile for routine QA – COR assessment, collimator testing, reconstruction parameter studies
✅ CE marked – EU regulatory compliance
✅ Detailed user manual – step-by-step test execution and results assessment
